Terry Cooper Services and C P Bourg launch new products at IPEX 2010
As the sole UK distributor for CP Bourg, digital print finishing specialists Terry Cooper Services (TCS) will be present on their stand at this year's IPEX exhibition.
IPEX will be the European platform launching Bourg's latest nearline and online digital finishing machines. Showcased products will include the BSF sheet feeder, the BCMe rotary creaser / slitter and the BMe booklet maker, plus a range of Guillotines from TCS.

By offering both nearline and online finishing systems Bourg has shattered the myth that finishing devices slow down the overall digital printing process. The BSF can take a high capacity stack on a pallet directly from many digital presses and the BCMe's non-stop rotary creasing tool can crease not only the covers or both covers and blocks. The BCMe can also trim up to 25mm of bleed from an iGEN printed sheet, handles jobs from one to 5,000 in various formats including A4 landscape and is available with optional BST 20 collating towers.
To ensure their stand team have all the very latest information to hand, C P Bourg will give all dealers a sneak preview of the latest technology through a global, pre-IPEX launch. In addition to the range of new products, there will be a special display presentation with video every half an hour and are inviting visitors to contact their UK dealer to book an appointment or demonstration.
TCS presence will also highlight other areas of the finishing sector by providing ongoing demonstrations of the Challenge range of CMT trimmers. This range is versatile as they feature stand-alone machines but also features optional technology such as the multi-book feeder and high capacity stacker, providing near-line configuration to keep up with today's dynamic digital market.

Terry Cooper Services unveils the latest single knife trimmer that combines the capacity to double productivity with excellent value for money.
UK distributors of large format finishing and paper handling products, Terry Cooper Services are sole UK agents for the Challenge Machinery range and the new CMT130 already proves a hit with its versatility. Not only does the trimmer work well as a stand-alone machine but features optional technology such as the multi-book feeder and high capacity stacker. These provide near-line configuration to keep up with the dynamic digital market.
The CMT 130 keeps up with most single clamp binders on the market trimming 200 books an hour with manual feed and a normal conveyor. However the multi-book option not only fully automates the in-feed process from time-consuming manual, but can increase the output quantity to up to 500 books an hour.
Added to this, the CMT also offers a high capacity stacker that gives a vertical press delivery output, keeping spines in tact for a professional finish. September 09 - Carry On Printing - with the new Bourg BSF Sheet Feeder.
Large format finishing specialists Terry Cooper Services launch the Bourg BSF Sheet Feeder into the UK market this month. It heralds a new era in high-speed, exceptional quality and increased off-line volume finishing for digital and variable data printing.
Designed to meet the needs of many print businesses that run different brands of printers, the new BSF Sheet Feeder has been specifically constructed to increase productivity by operating off-line. As a result, all printers are able to carry on printing whilst specific jobs are being fed into the next process ensuring no printer is tied up creating job queues and production downtime.
Key features include the new innovative air-table, which automatically aligns the stack to centre in seconds from any print carts such as Canon, HP, Oce, Heidelberg, IBM, Kodak and Xerox. The latest transfer technology reduces the risk of damaged sheets and stacking errors and by including two feeding compartments it can automatically detect double sheets, missed sheets or when each stack bin is empty.
The compartments can accept pile heights of 500mm for primary content and feed sheets up to 15,000 sheets per hour to various CP Bourg document-finishing modules. Paper handling sizes range from small CD-ROM booklets to the largest size currently handled by digital printers.
The overall automation and speed of the new Bourg BSF Sheet Feeder increases production time and therefore the cost benefits of using off-line volume finishing.

TCS launch a new 3-knife trimmer this month that enables customers to triple their production volume with its range of new features. The CMT330 from Challenge is available in both in-line and near-line systems with a Multi-book optional feature to maximise productivity.
